A new report claiming Brad Pitt spent time with Angelina Jolie while he's allegedly in a "romance" with Charlize Theron is completely made-up. Virtually every aspect of the story is fabricated. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this work of fiction.
According to OK! and notably only that outlet, Pitt spent time with Jolie on Friday. The tabloid reports Pitt was photographed leaving his attorney's office on Friday. And he "spent three hours there with Angelina" working out custody issues involving their six children, contends the magazine. Glaringly, though, while Pitt was snapped by paparazzi leaving the office building in Los Angeles, there were absolutely no pictures of Jolie.
Equally suspicious, leading Gossip Cop to more fully investigate, was that none of the more reputable outlets that follow the ins and outs of Jolie and Pitt's custody battle have reported anything about them having a three-hour meeting in person to discuss their issues. And that would be extremely newsworthy if that were the case, since their negotiations have not been face-to-face for a very long time, and instead handled by their attorneys, along with a retired judge who's mediating and deciding on issues related to the kids' custody.
The magazine's article ends with the entirely untrue contention that Pitt is now dating Theron. But, as Gossip Cop reported earlier in the week, Pitt's rep told us that all claims romantically linking the actor to Theron are "false." We were further assured Pitt "hasn't seen her in months," ever since they shot a Breitling watch ad together.
It should be noted OK! has a decidedly poor track record when reporting about Jolie and Pitt ever since their 2016 split. In November 2017, for example, Gossip Cop busted the tabloid when it wrongly maintained Pitt moved back in together with Jolie after she supposedly "begged him for forgiveness." Then, in February 2018, we nailed the very same magazine for running a bogus cover story that asserted Pitt and Jolie were calling off their divorce and even renewing their vows.
Not surprisingly, the publication didn't mention any of those big mistakes or how Theron was told Jennifer Aniston was pregnant with Pitt's baby, another falsehood the tabloid had no problem putting on its front page. While pushing the phony narrative about the actor now dating Theron, the outlet also left out how just a few months ago Gossip Cop debunked another cover story that swore up and down Pitt was engaged to Aniston.
To recap: The tabloid has a history of being provably wrong about Jolie and Pitt. It also has no proof whatsoever that Jolie was in the same building on Friday with her estranged husband. Not only that, a source within Jolie's camp tells Gossip Cop the magazine's tale is not true. And, of course, the storyline about Theron and Pitt is also wholly inaccurate.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
