A new report claiming to know Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani's relationship problems is entirely made-up. Gossip Cop can expose this fake news.

The ridiculous story comes from the perpetually disproven HollywoodLife, which blares in a recent headline posted on the site, "Blake Shelton & Gwen Stefani: The One Problem In Their Relationship That 'Tests His Patience.'" In the accompanying article, the outlet claims there's "one big issue that's come between" the couple, and it's allegedly "taken a toll on the country star." A so-called "source" is then quoted as saying, "Blake is a happy-go-lucky guy and is as fun as anyone can be," but Stefani is "a little more intense."

The site's questionable "insider" goes on to allege, "[Stefani] gets upset and puts many of her concerns for her career and life on Blake. [Shelton] takes her emotions and tries to turn her thoughts into something more positive. But it does test his patience." The webloid's seemingly fake "source" further purports, "He wishes that she would be more easy going and not worry about things so much but it's currently one of the few tests in the relationship that Blake hopes changes in the future."

But, as Gossip Cop has noted numerous times, the serial fabricators at HollywoodLife are clueless about Stefani and Shelton, and it seemingly has no real or reputable sources close to either singer. Remember, we corrected the bad blog just days ago when it falsely claimed Stefani was "brought to tears" over Shelton and her sons having a mutual interest in guitar. And in a similarly bogus narrative, we busted the unreliable outlet earlier this month for wrongly claiming Stefani "cried" when she watched Shelton's new music video.

Notwithstanding the amount of falsehoods the website has posted over the past few months, we still investigated the outlet's claim, and it came as no surprise that the article is yet another bogus tale. A source close to Stefani assures Gossip Cop the report is 100 percent "made-up," as no one connected to either star has been feeding the untrustworthy site with private information about the couple. Instead of reporting real news, the repeatedly discredited outlet simply resorts to pulling tales out of thin air.

Our Verdict

Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
