A new report purporting to know Blake Shelton‘s reaction to rumors that he and Gwen Stefani “split” is nothing more than a made-up claim. Gossip Cop can expose HollywoodLife for manufacturing yet another fake news story. Once again, the repeatedly discredited site has fabricated an article about Shelton.
HollywoodLies, as it is known, alleges to have “details on what the country superstar thinks about the breakup rumors.” Of course, what the untrustworthy blog neglects to mention is that just yesterday it reported the couple had split and allegedly it was Shelton who “put an end to it” (see below). As Gossip Cop exclusively reported, Shelton did not dump Stefani. Regardless, the clueless site now writes, “Shelfani fans everywhere were shaken to the core” when they heard the claim about Shelton and Stefani having “gone their separate ways after constant fights.” Again, it was places like HollywoodLife that actually spread that false rumor.
Glossing over the fact that it published as fact the phony breakup claim, now the website has one of its seemingly made-up sources telling the blog, “Blake finds the breakup rumors about he and Gwen ridiculous.” The same almost assuredly fake “source” further blathers how “Gwen’s kids would be rocked by a split with Blake” because her three boys have “really fallen in love with Blake.” HollywoodLies then ends its latest piece of fiction by assuring its readers there’s no need to worry because “all is very well in the world Shelfani.”
Before we delve deeper into how the entire article is fake news, it should be noted again that not only did HollywoodLies first report the “split” rumor as true (and later rewrote its piece a tiny bit to cover its tracks), but the blog also knows so little about Stefani and Shelton that it called them “Shelfani” twice in its current post. The celebrity couple’s nickname is actually Shefani, not Shelfani. But that’s hardly the biggest problem with its new story.
More significantly, Gossip Cop is assured by Shelton’s camp that no one in his inner circle is offering any information like this to HollywoodLies. Naturally, Gossip Cop is not the least surprised because that website has a history of fabricating stories about the country singer and Stefani. In fact, just four months ago, Gossip Cop similarly busted HollywoodLife for falsely claiming Shelton and Stefani had split. And last month, the notoriously unreliable outlet falsely claimed Stefani was pregnant with Shelton’s twins.
It should be abundantly clear at this point that either HollywoodLies is pretending to have Shelton and Stefani insiders, who are consistently wrong, or the site relies on the worst Shefani sources in the world. Either way, far too often its visitors are reading fiction and fake news. For the truth, fans should stick with Gossip Cop.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
