An article claiming Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani “would be happy” for Miranda Lambert and Gavin Rossdale if they each had children after their respective splits was made up. Gossip Cop can expose this fake news.
Apparently, HollywoodLife is no longer content to only make up stories about Shelton and Stefani having children. After nearly two years of the webloid speculating about pregnancies and claiming to have “exclusives” on whether the couple will have kids together (including five such pieces in the last three days alone), the serial fabricators have come up with a new angle. And it involves their respective ex-spouses.
“Blake Shelton & Gwen Stefani Would Be Happy For Miranda Or Gavin If Either Has A New Baby,” blares the headline of the fabrication factory’s latest work of fiction, which begins, “As we anxiously wait to see if Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are going to have a child together, our source has the EXCLUSIVE details on how they’d feel about their exes having children in the future!” Of course, as Gossip Cop has pointed out countless times, HollywoodLies doesn’t actually have an authentic Shelton “source” nor a legitimate Stefani “source.” The outlet either gets duped over and over again by posers… or is simply inventing these purported “sources.”
Here, the supposed snitch asserts, “Gwen and Blake want everyone to be happy and if Gavin or Miranda ever have children with their future relationships they would be happy for them. Gwen and Blake want everyone to be happy and if Gavin or Miranda ever have children with their future relationships they would be happy for them. They are interested in moving forward on good terms and don’t want to have any drama with their exes so they are thinking positively about them when they are ever brought up.”
As is often the case, HollywoodLies’ “source” (cough) has merely stated the obvious. Stefani and Shelton have moved on, clearly. Rossdale and Lambert have moved on with new partners as well. So why wouldn’t they all be happy for each other? The online publication has leapt to a rather obvious conclusion and is trying to pass it off as “exclusive” insight. In addition, the site seems to think that if its claims are positive, there’s no issue with pretending to have inside knowledge. But there is. The issue is that this isn’t real news. It’s manufactured without a genuine source, and was purposefully crafted to reel in fans of not just Stefani and Shelton, but Rossdale and Lambert, too, for clicks.
Why appeal to one or two fan bases when you can appeal to four? Frankly, the only thing that surprises Gossip Cop here is that HollywoodLies didn’t break this into two separate stories: One on Shelton’s feelings if Lambert had kids and one on Stefani’s feelings if Rossdale had more children. The bottom line, of course, is still the same. No one is talking to the webloid about the couple’s own baby plans or how they would react to their exes having babies. Period.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
