There have been a lot of false tabloid stories about Blake Shelton feuding with the people in his life, including girlfriend Gwen Stefani, ex-wife Miranda Lambert and his co-stars on “The Voice.” Gossip Cop frequently debunks nonexistent drama surrounding the country star. Here are five recent wrong rumors.

In April, Gossip Cop busted OK! for falsely claiming that Shelton was “at war” with Kelly Clarkson backstage at their NBC reality show. According to the magazine, the country star felt threatened by Clarkson’s presence on the show and it led to “vicious” off-camera fights. The bogus story was concocted simply because the two have a friendly on-screen rivalry. Earlier this year, while talking about their competitive dynamic on the show, Shelton explained to People magazine, “Make no mistake, Kelly is my friend.”

In January, Gossip Cop called out The Inquisitr for falsely claiming that Shelton was at odds with Stefani because she was jealous of his friendship with ‘The Voice’ Season 13 winner Chloe Kohanski. The blog contended that the couple was planning on getting married, but Stefani called off the wedding and the two were headed for a split. We debunked the phony story as soon as it emerged, and of course, the two are still happily together nearly one year later. In fact, People magazine published a story on Monday noting that Shelton and Stefani are “madly in love” three years into their relationship.

Last November, Gossip Cop debunked a Life & Style story alleging that a “new war” was erupting between Shelton and Lambert, “and it includes revenge songs, public digs and trash-talking to pals.” The tabloid alleged that neither could get over the hurt and anger of their divorce and all the bitterness would result in a “whole new era of warfare.” In reality, both Shelton and Lambert have moved on with their lives and don’t talk about each other in the press very often. The two have subtly referenced their marriage in their music, but neither has trashed the other in interviews and there was certainly no major war.

In October 2017, Gossip Cop called out Life & Style for falsely claiming that Shelton’s “bromance” with Adam Levine had “cooled off.” The magazine said the longtime pals weren’t “as close as they once were,” but the premise was seemingly inspired by the two bickering on “The Voice.” However, their arguments on the show are both lighthearted and good-natured. In reality, Shelton has said that Levine is “one of my best friends and it’s because of his heart.” For his part, Levine said all of their competitiveness on the show “comes from a place of love.”

And finally, Gossip Cop busted RadarOnline last year for falsely claiming that Shelton was feuding with Jennifer Hudson on the set of “The Voice.” The blog claimed that the country singer felt his co-star was trying to steal the spotlight and it was causing a lot of tension between the two off-camera. When the story first emerged, a source involved in the production of “The Voice” assured us it was false. Around one month later, Shelton and Hudson teamed up to perform a single of his song “I’ll Name the Dogs.” There were clearly no issues between the co-stars.
