Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani’s apparent new relationship continues to be one of the hottest topics. And Gossip Cop is continuing to separate fact from fiction about the romance.

FICTION: Miranda Lambert “broke her silence” about Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani, as reported by Glamour.
FACT: After Lambert posted song lyrics on Instagram praising the band Lake Street Drive, the magazine wrongly announced that she had specifically commented on Shelton moving on with Stefani. In actuality, as Gossip Cop pointed out, Lambert wrote nothing remotely close to that.

FICTION: Miranda Lambert is joining “American Idol” to “hurt” Blake Shelton,” as reported by HollywoodLife.
FACT: The webloid falsely claimed Lambert planned on getting “revenge” by appearing on “The Voice” rival. A rep for the country songstress, however, exclusively told Gossip Cop that the allegation was a “complete fantasy made up” by HollywoodLies.

FICTION: Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani will “flaunt their romance” during “The Voice” Battles, as reported by RadarOnline.
FACT: The site embarrassingly alleged on Monday that “when it gets to [the] battle round,” the co-stars would “play up” their relationship and “purposely steal each other’s eliminated contestants.” Of course, as Gossip Cop noted, the season 9 Battles ended last month, and with the Live Playoffs beginning Monday night, stealing isn’t even allowed anymore.

FICTION: Blake Shelton is “getting married,” as asked by a Twitter follower.
FACT: After Shelton teased on Twitter on Sunday that he had a “big announcement,” one fan asked if he was marrying… Adam Levine. The country superstar assured, “No weddings on the horizon!!!” And that fits right in line with Gossip Cop previously debunking a Life & Style claim that Shelton and Stefani were planning to tie know the knot.

FICTION: Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale are divorced, as reported by various outlets.
FACT: Stefani and Rossdale reached a divorce agreement in late October, as Gossip Cop noted at the time. But the dissolution of their union has not yet been made official by a California judge. They are still legally wed until the paperwork is finalized in court.

Gossip Cop isn’t surprised that outlets are rushing to report new twists in Shelton and Stefani’s evolving coupledom. But when it comes at the expense of accuracy, we’ll keep exposing the facts versus fiction.
