Blake Shelton performed “Every Time I Hear That Song” at Wednesday’s 2017 CMT Music Awards on Wednesday. Watch the video below!

As Gossip Cop has reported, “Every Time I Hear That Song” is the fifth single from the album If I’m Honest, which came out in May 2016. The song wasn’t sent to radio as a single until February 2017. While the track hasn’t had much success on the Billboard Hot 100, it did reach number eight on the Country Airplay chart and number 12 on the Hot Country Songs rankings.

Most recently, Shelton sang “Every Time I Hear That Song” on “The Voice” last month. Only weeks ago, his artist Lauren Duski was named the runner-up for the NBC music competition’s 12th season. Duski just made her debut at The Ryman Auditorium on Tuesday, with her superstar coach cheering her on. Shelton tweeted afterward, “Y’all @LaurenDuski just got a standing o at @TheRyman… CMA week is already gettin wild.”

His night out on the eve of the CMT Music Awards also included some karaoke with Hoda Kotb, who came to Nashville to present at the awards show with fellow “Today” host Kathie Lee Gifford. For Shelton, this marks his first country music awards show performance in months. After getting shut out of nominations at the CMA Awards last fall and the ACM Awards earlier this year, Shelton didn’t attend either event.

But he scored a CMT nod for Male Video of the Year for “Came Here To Forget,” and was one of the first performers announced for the ceremony. As Gossip Cop noted at the time, Shelton won Social Superstar of the Year at last year’s awards show. He also has four previous CMT Music Awards honors to his name.
