A new story about Blake Shelton not proposing to Gwen Stefani on "The Voice" because he got "cold feet" is simply untrue. Gossip Cop can exclusively report it's 100 percent a lie. In fact, the claim is rooted in stories from other equally unreliable outlets that falsely maintained Shelton was planning to drop down to one knee live during the singing competition. An on-air proposal was never going to happen, as Gossip Cop rightfully and repeatedly stated. Regardless, we're told the latest tale about Shelton failing to propose on "The Voice" is simply "BS."
According to the often discredited Celeb Dirty Laundry, producers of "The Voice" had expected Shelton to "propose to Gwen in front of the cameras, but he got cold feet." Naturally, the blog has no evidence that Shelton had planned to pop the question. Instead, the webloid simply states Shelton has "already gone through one bad marriage and doesn't want to make the same mistake a second time around." The site adds also without evidence that the country crooner has "reservations about their relationship and future together." Then, just as absurdly as the rest of its speculative article, CDL asserts that "Gwen isn't willing to sit around" and wait for Shelton to propose, so if he doesn't ask her to marry him "by the end of the year, she's willing and ready to pull the plug on their relationship."
There is so much wrong with the website's article that it's nearly impossible to decide where to begin. That said, Shelton never had plans to propose on "The Voice." That was (and continues to be) a lie that Gossip Cop was the first to debunk. The site, which doesn't quote any sources, further exposes its ignorance by noting Shelton been through one marriage already and "doesn't want to make the same mistake a second time around." Actually, the singer has been married twice before. And, as if the blog's story wasn't dumb enough, the outlet alleges Stefani "isn't willing to sit around" for Shelton, and so she's going to wait yet another six months until "the end of the year" before deciding whether she'll "pull the plug on their relationship." Really?
Basically, there's not a single ounce of truth or even logic to CDL's latest fiasco. Gossip Cop, however, is not remotely surprised. We have repeatedly busted the webloid for its other fake news stories about Shelton and Stefani. Remember, this is all coming from the same outlet that falsely alleged Shelton was joining "Dancing With The Stars" last season. That was a lie, and so is the new article about Shelton getting "cold feet" and not proposing to Stefani on "The Voice."
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
