Blake Griffin's Los Angeles Clippers teammates aren't blaming Kendall Jenner and the so-called "Kardashian Curse" for their recent losing streak, despite a ridiculous report. Gossip Cop looked into the situation and we can exclusively set the record straight.

Prior to scoring a victory on Wednesday night, the Clippers suffered a nine-game losing streak. HollywoodLife now claims to have "exclusively" learned that Griffin's team believes his girlfriend is the reason behind their struggles. A so-called "source" tells the site, "Some of the teammates of Blake who are superstitious to it all believe that the Kardashian Curse is a real thing and has something to do with their woes even though Blake is laughing all that off and isn't taking that as the reason for their losing streak and bad play."

The "Kardashian Curse" is the pop culture myth that anyone who dates a member of the Kardashian family is hit with bad luck, especially the athletes. Most recently, Khloe Kardashian's boyfriend Tristan Thompson was said to have been hexed by the Kardashians after the Cleveland Cavaliers lost the NBA Finals. However, real or not, Griffin's team isn't blaming their losses on the folklore. Gossip Cop is exclusively assured by a source close to the situation that no one on the Clippers has accused Griffin's girlfriend of being responsible for their defeats.

It should also be noted, the Clippers made a comeback on Wednesday night after Griffin scored his first triple-double of the year, collecting 26 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. Also, Griffin was the highest-scoring player on the team in some of the previous games that they lost, so he's been pulling his weight despite the defeats. Regardless, the "Kardashian Curse" isn't being discussed in the team's locker room.

This also isn't the first time that Gossip Cop has had to call out HollywoodLife for publishing a bogus report about the reality star and NBA player's relationship. We recently debunked the site's phony story about Jenner and Griffin already talking about having kids together. This latest article is more nonsense from the repeatedly discredited webloid.

Our Verdict
