Blac Chyna did NOT officially change her name to “Angela Kardashian,” despite a report. Gossip Cop can correct the erroneous story.

MediaTakeOut announces in a headline, “GAME… SET… MATCH!! Blac Chyna Goes Down To The SOCIAL SECURITY OFFICE… Changes Her Name OFFICIALLY… To ‘Angela Kardashian!!’” The article similarly says, “Blac Chyna is NO MORE. Meet Angela Kardasian. On Friday Afternoon Chyna drove down to the social services, and put in the paperwork to have her name officailly [sic] changed.”

“Her new name: Angela Kardashian,” continues the site, adding, “It’s not clear whether she made the change because she is ALREADY MARRIED to Rob Kardashian.” As proof of its name-changing claims, the webloid points to paparazzi photos of Chyna carrying legal documents.

But MediaFakeOut is mistaken about why the reality star was seen with those items. Chyna went to an administrative office to obtain work permits for her two young children. This will allow the kids to get legally compensated for appearances on television, in modeling campaigns, or anything else. The move had nothing to do with changing her name whatsoever, and Chyna has not “officially” become “Angela Kardashian.”

Of course, it’s hardly surprisingly MTO bungled this piece. Back in January, Gossip Cop busted the outlet for falsely claiming Chyna was pregnant again. The webloid, however, was officially wrong, just as it is now.
