Blac Chyna has hired a well-known celebrity lawyer for a restraining order case against Rob Kardashian. On Thursday, Lisa Bloom announced that she will be representing Chyna in court.

“I represent Blac Chyna. I just gave Rob Kardashian notice that we’ll be in court Monday seeking restraining orders against him. More to come,” she tweeted. Just one day prior, Bloom had written on Twitter, “My take: what Rob Kardashian did to Blac Chyna could be ‘revenge porn,’ and illegal. Women, stand up for our rights!”

Now it seems Bloom and Chyna connected, and have decided to take legal action against Kardashian. As Gossip Cop reported, the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star went on a rant on Instagram on Wednesday, accusing Chyna of cheating on him. Kardashian even posted Chyna’s nude photos, claiming she was sexting him while seeing other men and alleging he paid for her plastic surgery.

Hours later, a different attorney, Walter Mosley, said in a statement on Chyna’s behalf, “I am exploring all legal remedies and protections available to my client at this time in attempts to best advise her on how she may want to proceed.” A restraining order, if granted, would prevent Kardashian from coming within a certain number of yards of Chyna, and prohibit him from contacting or harassing her in any way.

His actions have led many to debate the nature of revenge porn, and there’s even a Care2 petition demanding Kardashian be permanently banned from Instagram. The social media platform suspended his account after he repeatedly violated their policies against nudity by posting the explicit pictures of Chyna. After that, though, he shared the snapshots on Twitter, where he continued ranting. That said, Kardashian has not commented since then.

For her part, Chyna posted a since-deleted Snapchat in which she accused him of abusing her. It’s unclear how this latest blow-up is affecting custody of their daughter, Dream. As Gossip Cop reported at the time, Kardashian and Chyna first split last December, weeks after their daughter’s birth, but seemingly reconciled in the last month or two. Bloom has experience dealing with revenge porn cases, as she also represents Mischa Barton, who sought a restraining order earlier this year after an ex allegedly threatened to release a sex tape. She added Kathy Griffin as a client last month during the controversy surrounding the comedienne’s bloody photo of Donald Trump’s head, and also provides legal services for Janice Dickinson and other women who have accused Bill Cosby of sexual assault in civil lawsuits.

UPDATE: Bloom says in a statement furnished to Gossip Cop

“I am very proud to represent Blac Chyna as she stands up for her rights as a woman and as a mother against her ex, Rob Kardashian.

Yesterday Chyna retained me, and today we filed for temporary restraining orders to protect her rights.

Mr. Kardashian, you are now on notice: revenge porn is illegal. Cyberbullying your ex is harassment. Chyna ended your relationship months ago and she has the right to live as she chooses, work as she chooses, dress as she chooses, date who she chooses, and be intimate with who she chooses. Chyna and I both believe that this is an important women’s rights issue, as too many women and girls have been slut-shamed by exes.

It stops now. Your attempts to shame and control her are hereby rejected.

Her body, her choice. Her life, her choice. Back off.

On Monday at 8:30am Chyna, my co-counsel Walter Mosley and I will appear in Los Angeles Superior Court, 111 N. Hill St., Dept. 8, Los Angeles, CA to request the appropriate restraining orders to require Mr. Kardashian to behave like a grownup toward the mother of his baby.”
