Bindi Irwin is not in “secret talks” to star in a reality show with Chandler Powell, despite a manufactured tabloid report. The outlet wrongly claims Terri Irwin, who is allegedly opposed to the idea, is “praying” her daughter rejects the offer. Gossip Cop can separate fact from fiction.

The bizarre allegation comes from OK!, which blares in a ridiculous headline, “Bindi’s Reality Showdown.” In it’s accompanying article, a so-called source tells the outlet, “The idea is [Irwin and Powell] would get married in the first season, then have a baby in the second.” The magazine’s dubious insider goes to contend that “Bindi was unsure at first” about starring in a television show, but “Chandler’s been gung-ho from the start, telling her this could open a lot of doors.”

Bindi’s mom Terri, however, is “freaking out at the thought of Bindi rushing into marriage and kids,” further purports the publication’s made-up source. “[Terri] knows that reality TV feeds on conflict and drama, and she’s telling Bindi that it will wreck her relationship with Chandler,” adds the tipster. But according to the tabloid’s supposed source, Bindi believes that “she and Chandler are strong enough to survive anything life throws at them.”

Let Gossip Cop set the record straight. A rep for Bindi assures us the entire report is “untrue.” The daughter of the late Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin, is not in talks to star in her own television series alongside Powell, nor is she fighting with Terri over the possibility of being in a show. OK! needs to get to grips with reality. It’s simply fake news.
