Billboard Music Awards Winners 2017

(Billboard Music Awards)

Sunday’s 2017 Billboard Music Awards are celebrating the best in music. Gossip Cop has a full list of the winners below!

As Gossip Cop reported, the nominees for this year’s BBMAs were announced last month. Drake and The Chainsmokers tied for the most nominations, earning a whopping 22 each, including nods for Top Artist. Regardless of how many trophies they end up winning, both acts will be big parts of the live ceremony as performers.

The nominations were determined by data collected between March 18, 2016 and March 16, 2017. According to the awards show, organizers looked at “key fan interactions with music, including album and digital songs sales, streaming, radio airplay, touring and social engagement.” Ostensibly, those same metrics also determine the winners.

There are also, however, two fan-voted categories. The winners for Billboard Chart Achievement Award and Top Social Artist will be entirely up to viewers, who can vote online through the first hour of the awards show. And while there’s dozens of honors spanning all genres of music, only a select few will be handed out during the three-hour broadcast. Expect those two, though, to be among them.

Arguably the night’s biggest honor is going to Cher, who will be receiving the Icon Award. Gossip Cop will be updating the winners list live as each award is announced. The show is scheduled to start at 8 p.m. Eastern. In the meantime, check out all the categories below!
