Big Sean One Man Can Change The World video

Big Sean sings about his late grandmother in the “One Man Can Change The World” video, which the singer released on Friday. In the touching video, a tribute to Mildred V. Leonard who died in December 2014, Big Sean is seen sitting in an old beat-up car and also at a funeral, as he sings about all the things he learned from his grandmother. Watch the video below.

On Thursday, the singer revealed that the video and song, which features Kanye West and John Legend, was dedicated to Leonard. In a series of tweets he wrote, “Never had a song like this be a single, it’s different then what’s on radio, but I feel it’s needed w/ a the craziness goin on right now. Know it’s hard to imagine me not cursing on a song/single… But honestly I’m proud to have a song so heartfelt n real to me be 1 of my singles n not just a album song.”

He continued on Twitter, “I promised myself only music from the heart from now on when I made this album… I hope my grandma is looking down smiling on me right now. Because the struggles she went through to become a female black captain in WW2, one of the 1 st female black officers in Detroit, a teacher/counselor, and amazing mom/grandma were too great for this song not to be a single.”
