One of this week’s new tabloid claims Beyonce and Jay-Z never tipped the staff working a big party at their Malibu mansion. But did the superstar couple really stiff a bunch of servers? Gossip Cop looked into the alleged situation and we’ve exclusively learned the truth.

A so-called “spy” tells Star, in oddly unnatural language, “Bey and Jay lavished guests at their bluff-top Villa Contenta palace. They spared no expense with the finest food and drink money can buy. But at party’s end, the serving staff – who’d worked their tails off for hours making the soiree a success – grumbled they only got a measly ‘thanks’ as a gratuity.” The outlet’s seemingly made-up source goes on to say a waiter asked one of Beyonce’s employees if there was a problem with the service, to which the aide supposedly responded, “Beyonce loved the party, but they don’t [tip].”

Despite how fake the alleged insider’s quotes sound, Gossip Cop still checked in with a source close to the situation, who exclusively assures us the tabloid’s account of events simply never happened. We’re told the spouses never refused to give extra gratuity to an entire staff of party workers, and the claim otherwise is entirely “false.” Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time Star has published a completely made-up story about the couple, so this latest fabrication isn’t too shocking.

Gossip Cop recently busted the outlet for manufacturing a tall tale about Beyonce and Jay-Z asking Barack Obama’s secret service detail to help protect their newborn twins. And last year, Gossip Cop called out the untrustworthy publication for wrongly reporting Beyonce was running for office after catching “political fever” while campaigning for Hillary Clinton. Star seems more interested in writing fan fiction about the famous couple than doing any actual reporting, and this latest bogus article is yet another example.
