Did Beyonce really give Jay-Z five rules to follow by if he wants to stay married to her? That's the claim in one of this week's new tabloids, which says the singer will divorce her husband if he doesn't abide by certain guidelines. Gossip Cop looked into the situation and we can exclusively set the record straight.
Beyonce's first supposed rule, according to a Star "source," is that Jay-Z must "make peace with her sister Solange and convince her that he is no longer a dog." This is in reference to the rapper's infamous elevator fight with his wife's sister at the 2014 Met Gala. The outlet's questionable insider says the second rule is that "Jay needs to be committed, not just to his wife, but to their family."
As for the third rule, the unreliable magazine says Beyonce gets to decide whether or not they'll have more children, and he must obey her demand for another baby if she wants one. The tabloid's dubious source claims the fourth rule is a "strict ultimatum" for the rapper to stay away from Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. "Beyonce feels like Kanye is a loose cannon, and she told Jay that she didn't want him near the family," says the alleged insider.
And finally, the fifth and final rule dictates that the spouses "won't be living separate lives." The publication's supposed source says, "She told Jay, 'If I have to raise my kids as a single mom, you'll never see them.' He looked into her eyes and knew she was serious. It's her way or the highway." But Gossip Cop looked into the tabloid's rundown of these so-called "marriage rules" and we're told it's all nonsense.
A source close to the couple exclusively assures us Beyonce never gave her husband a set list of rules to follow in order to stay married. It should be noted, most marriages don't last if one spouse has all the power and controls all aspects of their significant others' life. That certainly isn't the case with the music superstars, and the tabloid's claim otherwise is completely untrue.
Unfortunately, this would hardly be the first time Star published an inaccurate story about the couple. Gossip Cop recently called out the magazine for falsely claiming Beyonce and Jay-Z didn't tip the staff working a party at their house. Shortly before that fabrication, we debunked the outlet's bogus report about Beyonce and Jay-Z having marriage trouble. This latest article is more lies from the repeatedly discredited tabloid.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
