Beyonce's 5-year-old daughter Blue Ivy does not have four nannies, a "bevy of teachers" instructing her in French and Swahili, a personal chef who makes healthy ballerina-shaped pasta, a wardrobe consultant, and a team of four "play specialists," despite a wholly made-up report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this over-the-top story. We're told it's "fiction."
According to Star, Beyonce "spares no expense" when it comes to her three children. A so-called "source" tells the tabloid, "Each child has four nannies" at a cost of $100-a-year. The magazine also contends, "Aside from Blue's bevy of teachers, who instruct the tot in French, Swahili, art and ballet, Bey's hired a personal chef to cater to her picky appetite," which includes whipping up "whole-wheat pasta in the shape of ballerinas with pureed organic asparagus and vitamin-infused cheddar cheese."
Oh, but that's not all. The tabloid further maintains that Beyonce has "wardrobe consultants," who go everywhere she, Blue Ivy and twins Rumi and Sir go, just to ensure they "change outfits a minimum of five times a day." "The stylist is always there so Blue never has to ask, 'What should I wear?'" especially since the magazine asserts the little girl has 400 tutus. And to guarantee the kids have fun and partake in games, adds the outlet, Beyonce foots the bill for a team of four "play specialists."
While it's true that Beyonce has a few nannies for her three small children, it's nowhere near as many as the tabloids claims. Nor does Blue Ivy have French and Swahili tutors. The site also cooked up the part about the 5-year-old having a personal chef, who makes her noodles that look like ballerinas, paired with vitamin-infused cheddar cheese. For the record, anyone can buy the dancer-shaped pasta online.
Also, the little girl does not have her very own wardrobe consultant who makes sure she's outfitted in a minimum of five ensembles a day from a collection of 400 tutus. And lastly, Beyonce hasn't hired "play specialists" to "ensure [her kids] are exposed to fun games." The only one playing games is Star, with the truth.
Gossip Cop understands that high net worth individuals like celebrities live a more luxurious lifestyle than the rest of us. We also suspect that the tabloid manufactured this article against the backdrop of Beyonce and Jay-Z buying multimillion-dollar homes in Los Angeles and the Hamptons. But, for the most part, the claims are just rich in fantasy. Arguably, among the reasons Beyonce is so wealthy, in addition to the vast amount of money she's amassed from her singing career, is that she doesn't squander cash foolishly.
In any event, Gossip Cop checked in with an impeccable Beyonce source, and we're assured the tabloid's claims are beyond exaggerated. Our source tells us the magazine's article is "fiction." Or, as Blue Ivy would say in Swahili, it's "si ukweli" (not true).
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
