Laurent and Larry Bourgeois, known professionally as “Les Twins,” are “not aging well,” according to a hilariously inaccurate report. Gossip Cop can correct this absurd claim. The 28-year-old dancers not only look exactly like each other, but they also look exactly like they did two months ago when they won “World Of Dance.”
The comically wrong report comes courtesy of MediaTakeOut. The woefully mistaken site has a headline that screams, “Beyonce’s Two SEXY TWIN DANCERS… Well They’re NOT AGING WELL… What Happened To THEM TWO???” The outlet then writes that “Les Twins,” who used to be backup dancers for Beyonce, “stopped by Pressed Juicery for a beverage in the 90210.” It also notes, “The brothers are wearing matching clothes for a day out together.” The entire article about them “not aging well” hinges on a photo of the twins out in Beverly Hills. See MTO’s headline and the faces of who the outlet believes are Laurent and Larry Bourgeois below, and compare it to the picture of “Les Twins” above.
There’s one slight problem with MediaFakeOut’s story: The two identical brothers pictured in the article are not “Les Twins.” So, it’s not really a matter of Les Twins’s not aging well; it’s a matter of two older twins being mistaken by the careless site for Larry and Laurent Bourgeois. The twins in the article are actually models-actors Jason and Garry Clemmons, and they look older because they’re actually 36. The Clemmons twins star in the music video for David Guetta and Justin Bieber’s song “2U,” which was released just a week ago (below).
As Gossip Cop reported, after winning $1 million of “World Of Dance,” Les Twins performed on the “Today” show and talked about their victory. The twins from France were deemed the world’s best dancers by judges Jennifer Lopez, Derek Hough, and Ne-Yo thanks to their creativity and choreography. The only thing that won’t age well is MediaTakeOut’s completely wrong report.
