A new report claims Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor’s marriage ended because the actor constantly accused his wife of cheating, but there’s no truth to the story. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this fake news.

As Gossip Cop reported, Stiller and Taylor separated last month after 17 years of marriage, and Star now claims to know the reason behind the breakup. A supposed “source” tells the magazine, “It was a classic case of a man whose fidelity has been under question accusing his faithful partner of cheating. Christine grew tired of the accusations.”

The outlet’s dubious insider goes on to say that Stiller was the one who flirted with other women and even “put two stunning blonde personal chefs on his payroll,” but when it came to his wife’s interactions with other men, “it was one rule for him and another for her.” The questionable source adds, “The one thing Ben didn’t count on was Christine having enough.”

Gossip Cop, however, checked in with a trustworthy source close to the situation, who exclusively assures us the estranged spouses’ split wasn’t a result of cheating accusations. We’re told the magazine’s claim otherwise is simply “false.” In fact, we just busted Star’s sister outlet, RadarOnline, for its similarly made-up story surrounding the breakup.

The site claimed earlier this week that Stiller and Taylor split over “another woman,” but Gossip Cop exclusively debunked that false report. This latest tabloid story alleging to have insight into why the couple called it quits is equally unfounded.
