There have been several false tabloid stories about the nature of Ben Affleck's relationship with Jennifer Garner's boyfriend, John Miller. Gossip Cop has debunked many bogus articles involving the two men. Here are a few wrong rumors on the subject.

Just last week, Gossip Cop busted RadarOnline for falsely claiming Garner's boyfriend was teaching Affleck how to be a "better parent" to his three kids. According to the blog, the actor and his ex-wife were better than ever when it came to co-parenting their children, mostly thanks to guidance from Miller. The website further contended that Affleck was stepping up his parenting duties as a result of seeing his ex-wife's boyfriend "interact" with his kids.

A spokesperson for the actor told us the story was absurd, especially considering that Affleck's parenting skills have never come into question by anyone. Garner herself even paid tribute to her ex-husband in honor of Father's Day last year, writing, "Our kids are lucky to have a dad who looks at them the way you look at them and loves them the way you love them." The ex-spouses have been successfully co-parenting their kids long before Garner started dating the Cali Group CEO.

Earlier this year, Gossip Cop called out Star for wrongly reporting that Affleck was "a wreck" over Garner's romance with Miller. The outlet contended that the actor had been "down and out" ever since the news broke that his ex-wife had moved on with a new man. A supposed source was quoted as saying, "There's no doubt he's fallen into a deep funk over the state of his personal life, and his friends are very worried about him."

People magazine, a much more reliable outlet for celebrity news, published a contrasting (and accurate) article noting that Affleck supported Garner's new relationship. "Ben will always want the best for Jen," said the reputable publication. E! News, which is similarly reliable, echoed the sentiment by noting, "Ben is happy when Jen is happy. They have a really strong relationship. They will continue to co-parent and support each other." The actor simply wasn't having a breakdown over his ex-wife dating someone new.

Last year, Gossip Cop debunked a National Enquirer story claiming Garner was ending her romance with Miller because the businessman was too jealous of Affleck. The tabloid maintained that Miller was throwing a fit over how much time his girlfriend was spending with her ex-husband, and "let her know he's not OK with Ben being around so much." According to the publication, Garner would be dumping Miller because he couldn't handle her staying close with her ex. As time has proven, the actress and the businessman are still very much together. Miller never blew up at Garner for spending time with Affleck, nor is he uncomfortable with them staying on good terms.

And finally, Gossip Cop busted OK! last year for making up a story about Affleck congratulating Garner and Miller on having a baby together. The main problem with the premise? The actress and her boyfriend weren't expecting a child and still aren't. At the time, however, an alleged insider said Garner told her ex-husband she was pregnant, "and he took it surprisingly well." The actress's own rep told us on the record that she wasn't expecting a child. Meanwhile, Garner's romance with the CEO wasn't all that serious at the time the article emerged. Regardless, it's fairly clear the gossip media knows very little about Affleck and Miller's dynamic.

Our Verdict
