A story about Jennifer Garner’s boyfriend, John Miller, teaching Ben Affleck how to be a “better parent” is completely untrue. Gossip Cop can debunk the premise. It’s completely fabricated.

According to RadarOnline, Affleck and Garner are better than ever when it comes to successfully co-parenting their three kids, and most of it has to do with guidance from the actress’s boyfriend, who has two young kids with ex-wife Caroline Campbell. “Ben and Jen are playing happy family at last, only this time they aren’t acting,” says a supposed source, who baselessly suggests that the exes were only pretending to be on good terms up until now.

“Jen having a boyfriend has been the best thing to happen to Ben and Jen in a while,” contends the alleged insider before asserting how Affleck has become “a better parent” as a result of seeing Miller “interact” with the actor’s three children. “Ben is showing that he can be a better person than he was,” adds the questionable tipster. “He is taking over school activities for the kids and they are co-parenting in a way that it’s never been before.”

The blog’s article is simply absurd. For starters, Affleck and Garner have been successfully co-parenting their three kids since their 2015 separation. In the four years since they split, both stars have praised each other’s parenting skills in interviews and on social media. Last year, Garner posted a tribute to Affleck on Instagram in honor of Father’s Day, writing, “Our kids are lucky to have a dad who looks at them the way you look at them and loves them the way you love them.”

Additionally, the ex-spouses are frequently photographed attending events at their kids’ schools and watching them from the sidelines at various sports games. They also consistently attend Sunday church services as a family. Affleck and Garner are known for having one of the most civil divorces in Hollywood, and that’s in large part due to them remaining on good terms for their kids. Their effective co-parenting dynamic has been going on long before Garner started dating her boyfriend.

Still, Gossip Cop ran the story by Affleck’s spokesperson, who tells us on the record that it’s ridiculous. The actor didn’t learned how to become a better dad by taking the example of his ex-wife’s boyfriend. The idea otherwise is unfounded and insulting.

Around a year ago, Gossip Cop busted RadarOnline for falsely claiming Affleck was planning a “shotgun wedding” in Hawaii with Lindsay Shookus, who was said to be expecting his child. The actor and (not pregnant) “Saturday Night Live” producer split shortly after we debunked the bogus report.

Gossip Cop has also called out the blog for publishing multiple stories about Affleck supposedly having a falling out with Matt Damon. In reality, the longtime friends and producing partners frequently socialize and have a number of joint projects in development. It’s clear the website and its unreliable sources know very little about Affleck’s personal relationships.
