Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are not back together and having a baby to celebrate him getting a year of sobriety, despite a false report. Gossip Cop can correct the story. It's 100 percent untrue.
A headline in the latest issue of Woman's Day reads, "Jen & Ben Reunited... & Pregnant?!" According to the magazine, the two are no longer just friendly exes and co-parents. "A year ago, Ben begged Jen to take him back," says an anonymous insider. "At the time, it was an absolute no way. He needed to focus on his sobriety and his health. But Jen did say that if he could stay clean and sober for a year, she'd consider making a go of things again."
To back up its premise, the outlet points to photos of Affleck and Garner alone at the actor's home without their children around. The supposed sign of Garner's pregnancy is a photo of the actress facing away from the camera in a poofy dress. "Nobody would be surprised [if she's pregnant] because they're in a fantastic place right now," adds the unnamed insider. "Their relationship is actually better than ever and a baby would put them both on cloud nine."
Just last week, Gossip Cop busted Life & Style for claiming Affleck's pals thought Garner would give him a "second chance" now that he's one year sober. As the actor's rep told us when we debunked that article, the ex-spouses are both "very happy with the situation they are in currently." That situation involves the two staying cordial and co-parenting their three kids. Furthermore, both tabloids ignore the fact that Garner has been dating current boyfriend John Miller for more than a year.
Woman's Day decide to escalate the scenario by throwing in a false pregnancy angle. The so-called "rounded tummy" cited as proof of a baby is clearly just Garner's loose-fitting dress. It seems every time a famous women wears an outfit that isn't skin-tight, the gossip media insists she must be pregnant.
Additionally, one of Garner's latest posts on Instagram shows she's not hiding any sort of a baby bump. The magazine purposefully published the most ambiguous photo it could find, since clearer pictures of the actress reveal she's not carrying a child.
It should be noted, Gossip Cop busted Woman's Day less than a month ago for falsely claiming Affleck was secretly dating Ana de Armas, his co-star in the upcoming thriller Deep Water. That story wasn't true either, but this latest article completely ignores it.
In May, Gossip Cop called out the magazine for wrongly reporting that Affleck and Garner were getting married again. That phony article didn't focus on the actor's sobriety, but instead said the actress was taking him back because he was stepping up his parenting skills. Affleck is in a good place these days, and he's also on great terms with Garner, but this saga about them rekindling a romance simply isn't accurate.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
