Ben Affleck's girlfriend Lindsay Shookus does not have a "baby bump" because the "SNL" producer is not pregnant, despite a made-up report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this regurgitated claim. We're told it's "not true."
According to RadarOnline, which has repeatedly published falsehoods about Affleck and Shookus, while out in Los Angeles the leggy TV producer "sparked pregnancy rumors when she stepped out in a long black sundress flashing what looked like a growing baby bump." The often discredited site further claims she's been "looking curvier than usual and sporting a fairly round belly." Possibly in an attempt to distance itself from its own fake news story, the blog asks whether "the blonde is already pregnant" after dating Affleck for just a few months.
The rest of the unreliable outlet's article is filled with a completely baseless allegation about how Shookus' "Saturday Night Live" friends aren't fans of Affleck. But as Gossip Cop noted earlier today, that story was also 100 percent false. It seems RadarOnline bought photos of Shookus wearing a flowy black dress in L.A. and let its creative juices run wild. The site most assuredly did not fact-check its claims.
Interestingly, the website's sister publication OK! similarly speculated two months ago in July that Shookus was expecting. That story even quoted yet another clueless "source" as saying, "There have been whispers that she might be pregnant with Ben's child, and that's why they decided to reveal they were together." Gossip Cop cannot say whether or not the writer of that tall tale was the only one who heard the "whispers" in his or her head. Anyway, as we noted then, a mutual pal of ours and the "SNL" producer assured us Shookus was not pregnant.
That's why, when this new story was published, we went back to our impeccable insider. Once again, we're told the website's claim that Shookus has a growing "baby bump" is simply "not true." It appears the only thing fertile here are the imaginations of the site's editorial department.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
