A tabloid report claiming the Beckham family will be “torn apart at Christmas” is entirely untrue. Gossip Cop fact-checked the story and we’ve exclusively learned the truth.

According to OK!, it won’t be a merry Christmas for the Beckham clan. A so-called “source” tells the magazine, “Victoria was counting on the whole family being together,” but Parsons School of Design student Brooklyn “has told them he’s staying one day at most. [Victoria] was stunned and hurt.” The outlet’s questionable “insider” notes David is “urging Brooklyn to make more of an effort.”

The tabloid’s alleged “source” goes on to contend that David and Victoria’s “rocky” marriage is struggling, jeopardizing the holiday season even more. “It’s more of a business relationship than a romance at this point. She’s feeling lonely. She’s not in much of a celebratory mood this year,” adds the supposed tipster.

But Gossip Cop checked in with the Beckhams’ rep, who exclusively assures us the story is “untrue.” Contrary to OK!’s story, the Beckham family will not be “torn apart at Christmas,” nor is David and Victoria’s marriage in trouble. In fact, as the holiday season approaches, Victoria posted a photo on Instagram of David wearing a Christmas jumper. “Forget Elf on the shelf!! It’s daddy on the step!!! #kissesatchristmas x VB,” she wrote. Clearly, the close-knit family is looking forward to the festive season.

It should be noted, OK! has a long history of publishing inaccurate stories about the Beckham family. For example, Gossip Cop corrected the tabloid earlier this month for falsely alleging Victoria was “worried” David was getting too close to socialite Lady Mary Charteris. We’ve even called out the outlet for wrongly claiming David and Victoria were headed for divorce. This latest article about the Beckham family being “torn apart at Christmas” is equally off-base.
