BAFTAs Winners 2015

(BAFTA)

The 2015 BAFTAs took place in London on Sunday. Held at the Royal Opera House and hosted by Stephen Fry for the 10th time, the 68th annual ceremony honored the best in movies from the past year. Check out the FULL LIST of winners below!

The winners for the BAFTAs, also known as the British Academy Film Awards, are selected by the British Film Academy. (BAFTA stands for British Academy of Film and Television Art.) The Grand Budapest Hotel led the nominees, with nominations in 10 categories.

Like the Academy Awards in the United States, categories include Best Actor/Actress in a Leading Role, Best Actor/Actress in a Supporting Role, Director, Screenplay, Cinematography, Editing, Costume Design, Documentary, and Animated film. Unlike the Oscars, however, there are some unique honors, such as Outstanding British Film, Debut by a British Writer, Director or Producer, and the EE Rising Star Award, which is given to actors who are breaking out in the industry. (Past winners include Kristen Stewart and Shia LaBeouf.)
