As Gossip Cop has reported, there’s been much controversy surrounding the entertainment for Trump’s inauguration. From artists dropping out to top acts refusing to join the bill, backlash has ensued every which way. But Littrell says he would’ve been more than happy to perform with his band mates.

“They asked me to ask the guys to sing”, he told a TMZ cameraman. “It just didn’t work out. I would’ve been there if I could’ve. But we’re starting rehearsals for our Vegas show. So it’s like it just couldn’t happen… It just couldn’t work out, which is fine.”

But the singer also enthusiastically discussed why he supports Trump, and believes other entertainers should join him. “Hollywood needs to chill out,” he declared. “You’re talking about [the] commander-in-chief. We’re talking about respect.”

Littrell went on to say, “This guy, as of Friday, Inauguration Day, he’s gonna be our president. He’s gonna be our commander-in-chief. And he’s gonna do so many great things, in my opinion.” He added, “I have faith in the system. have faith in his character, his beliefs, and his balls — let’s just put it that way.” Watch below.
