“Jeopardy” contestant Austin Rogers, who’s become a viral sensation for his quirky antics on the game show, appeared on Thursday’s “Good Morning America” to discuss his winning streak. Watch the full “GMA” interview below!

Rogers has has earned more than $278,000 on the show in just seven days, setting a record for winning the most money in the fastest amount of time. Viewers have also been obsessing over his deadpan humor and penchant for dancing when he gets a question correct. When asked about his winning streak on the morning talk show, Rogers noted, “I found ways to watch hundreds upon hundreds of episodes. I’m not gonna say there’s a system or a code, but if you watch enough, you’ll start seeing things repeat.”

Rogers, a New York City bartender, added, “I did my homework. I gamed the game. I didn’t try to learn more, I already know enough. I just want the money, duh!” “GMA” anchor pointed out that most “Jeopardy” participants are “reserved and quiet,” to which the outspoken contestant joked, “Yeah, they’re nerds usually.” When asked about his outlandish behavior, Rogers explained, “That’s just me. If I don’t know something, I will go out of my way to try and find it out. And then once I find it, I will be like, ‘Yes! I’ve learned something new.’ And that’s how I felt on the show itself when I pulled something out of thin air.” He added, “Those celebratory histrionics were not a put on.”

Meanwhile, after he Rogers was told many Twitter users have been suggesting he replace Alex Trebek as host of the game show, Rogers quipped, “No comment.
