Ashley Judd does not keep firing assistants on the set of “Berlin Station” for making little mistakes, despite a manufactured tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this claim. We’re told it’s “not true.”

The allegation was made in this week’s issue of Star, which blares in a new headline, “Ashley Axing All Her Staff.” In the accompanying article, the gossip magazine claims the actress has fired four assistants on the set of her Netflix show, “Berlin Station,” in a matter of weeks. A so-called “source” is quoted as saying, “No one is good enough and she’s not shy about letting them go.” The publication’s purported “insider” goes on to contend, “They don’t get a second chance, one strike and they’re out.”

What’s more, according to the tabloid’s on-set snitch, Judd has been axing her staff for simple “minor mishaps,” including wrong coffee orders and not doing a task quick enough. “A lot of times it’s a language barrier issue, but Ashley says that’s no excuse,” asserts the outlet’s supposed “source,” adding, “She’s a perfectionist and can be ruthless.”

Gossip Cop, however, looked into this seemingly concocted claim, and it comes as no surprise that the article is a complete fabrication. A rep for the actress exclusively tells us the report is “not true.” Judd, who joined the cast of “Berlin Station” earlier this year, does not keep firing assistants for making small mistakes. It’s all lies.

This isn’t the first time Gossip Cop has corrected an outlet for publishing an inaccurate story about a celebrity firing an assistant. In June, we debunked Star’s sister publication, OK!, when it falsely alleged in a made-up article that Jennifer Lopez forced Alex Rodriguez to fire all of his female staff. Much like that untrue claim, this latest report is equally unfounded.
