Ariana Grande appeared on Friday’s “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” to discuss her new single “Dangerous Woman,” as well as pulling double duty as the host and musical guest of this weekend’s “Saturday Night Live.” Listen to the interview audio below!

“Going into this, I wanted to make sure that they didn’t hold back,” the singer said about poking fun at herself on the sketch show. “I really want them to make an ass out of me. Please. I will be an idiot!” She went on note how she told “SNL” staffers, “I want to be a full out idiot. I’ll do anything. Like, let’s be funny. Let’s get ugly, dirty. Let’s do it!”

As far being nervous for her upcoming gig, Grande jokes, “I’m happy that I have very poor eye sight, because I won’t be able to see the [audience’s] faces.” But when Seacrest pointed out that the singer will need to read cue cards during the skits, she explained, “No, I have to memorize everything because there’s no hope.”

As Gossip Cop reported, Grande will perform her new track “Dangerous Woman,” which debuted on Thursday night, as well as “Be Alright,” another song from her upcoming album on this week’s “SNL.” Listen below to Grande talk about preparing to host “Saturday Night Live.”
