Ariana Grande did NOT get lip injections, despite a new report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct the story, which was published by a webloid with a spotty record. We’re told it’s simply not true.

According to MediaTakeOut, Grande has a “new look” after allegedly having “just got some lip injections.” The webloid even calls it “her latest plastic surgery.” So, what proof does MTO have that Grande got lip injections? And when did she supposedly have the “plastic surgery?”

The blog doesn’t have any answers or evidence. MediaTakeOut posted an undated picture of Grande, along with a recent Snapchat screengrab. What MTO fails to mention, though, is that the supposed “before” photo was taken more than five years ago, in June 2010, when Grande wasn’t even 17 yet. It’s a bit unreasonable to expect the pop star to look exactly the same at 22, not to mention the pictures are taken at two entirely different angles (see below).

But MediaTakeOut’s attempt at tricking readers doesn’t hold up under the weight of facts. And the fact is, Grande has not had any work done to her lips. A rep for the singer-actress tells Gossip Cop exclusively, “There is no truth to this.”

It’s also worth noting that MediaTakeOut has a history of trying to mislead people with supposed “plastic surgery” stories. As Gossip Cop reported just a few days ago, the webloid claimed Kourtney Kardashian got breast implants in the wake of her split form Scott Disick. Like with Grande, MTO attempted to support its allegation by posting a years-old picture of the reality star, along with a new one.

Of course, Kardashian had no such surgery recently. The blog, either clueless or careless, just decided to ignore the fact that Kardashian’s boobs are larger not because of any new implants, but because she gave birth less than a year ago and is still breastfeeding. Remember: There’s a reason MediaTakeOut is nicknamed “MediaFakeOut.”
