Ariana Grande Visits Manchester Hospital

Ariana Grande visited the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital on Friday to meet several of the young victims injured in last month’s terrorist attack at her concert. See the photos below.

Images released on Twitter show the singer embracing young children who are recovering from the horrific attack. As Gossip Cop reported, a suicide bomber detonated an explosion at Grande’s Manchester concert on May 22, resulting in 22 deaths and more than 100 injuries. The singer returned to the city this week ahead of Sunday’s One Love benefit concert, which will raise funds for the victims of the bombing and their families. The all-star lineup joining Grande for the show includes Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Coldplay, and many more. The benefit concert will take place at Manchester’s Old Trafford cricket ground.

As Gossip Cop also noted, Grande announced the Manchester benefit concert last week with a statement dedicated to her fans. She wrote, “I don’t want to go the rest of the year without being able to see and hold and uplift my fans, the same way they continue to uplift me. Our response to this violence must be to come closer together, to help each other, to love more, to sing louder and to live more kindly and generously then we did before.”

The singer added, “I’ll be returning to the incredibly brave city of Manchester to spend time with my fans and to have a benefit concert in honor of and to raise money for the victims and their families.” Check out the photos below of Grande visiting her young fans at the hospital.
