Ariana Grande did not fly home to the U.S. on Taylor Swift’s plane, despite a published report. Gossip Cop is told it’s untrue. We hear her tour company and manager arranged for a private jet to get Grande and her mom back home to Boca Raton, Florida.

The inaccurate claim started with the Daily Mail, which wrote, “She then made her way back home with a little help from Taylor Swift, who lent Ariana a private plane so that she could make a quick return to the U.S.” And while certainly a nice sentiment, it’s wrong. Gossip Cop has learned that Grande’s manager Scooter Braun and Live Nation took care of the logistics and picked up the tab for the singer and her mother to return home in a private plane. Grande was greeted on the tarmac in Boca Raton by her boyfriend Mac Miller.

As we previously reported, not long after the terrible tragedy in Manchester, Grande canceled her “Dangerous Woman Tour.” It remains unclear at this point whether the singer will resume the tour at a later time. Grande was slated to perform more concerts in Europe through June, and then additional shows that would continue into September in Latin America, Asia, and Australia.

Grande had just completed her show at the Manchester Arena on Monday when a terrorist, now identified as Salman Abedi, exploded a handmade bomb, designed with nails and bolts to hurt and kill as many innocent concertgoers as possible. At present, 22 have died from the savage attack, while another 59 remain injured. Before heading back to the U.S., Grande tweeted, “broken. from the bottom of my heart, i am so so sorry. i don’t have words.”
