A new story about Angelina Jolie supposedly not sleeping or eating is entirely made-up. Gossip Cop can debunk this latest attack on the actress's well-being. We're told it's complete nonsense.
According to the tabloid NW, the actress has been surviving on just three hours of sleep and very little food as she deals with the stresses of her divorce from Brad Pitt and caring for six kids. A so-called "source" tells the magazine, "Ange has been burning the candle at both ends for so long. The exhaustion combined with the lack of sleep is getting harder to hide."
The outlet's questionable insider adds, "Traveling nonstop is harder now with the kids on board and she hasn't had a moment of peace to herself in months." The "source" further contends that Jolie has "barely finished a full meal" since her 2016 split, adding, "She doesn't care for food. She's really just picking bits off the kids' plates."
The seemingly phony source continues, "They're not the healthiest of eaters, so quick bites of their hot dogs, donuts or chicken tenders to keep her going is not the most nutritious diet for a busy woman." The supposed insider goes on to say that Jolie "gets most of her vitamins and minerals" from glasses of wine, before dramatically asserting, "She's not going to be of use to anyone if she keels over... She needs to get a handle on this now, for the sake of her children.
Of course, Gossip Cop has debunked numerous inaccurate stories related to Jolie's health, so we were quick to question these latest claims. Naturally, a source close to the actress assures us she's not sleep-deprived or starving herself. It's inherently stressful going through a divorce and custody negotiations, but the magazine's assertion that Jolie isn't eating or sleeping simply isn't true.
It should be noted, Jolie did experience some health issues following her 2016 split, but she acknowledged in a recent interview that she's fully recovered from her former ailments. The actress also explained she she's now "being smart about my choices" and "in charge of my life and my health." Regardless, Gossip Cop can confirm that this ongoing narrative about the actress's dangerous food habits and sleep patterns is entirely fabricated.
Gossip Cop believes there to be elements of truth, but the story is ultimately misleading.
