Angelina Jolie is not "relieved" Brad Pitt didn't talk about his current love life in his recent interview with GQ, despite a wholly made-up report. Gossip Cop can bust this claim. We're told it's "not true."

As Gossip Cop reported, Pitt candidly revealed in a new GQ Style cover story that he quit drinking and smoking pot in the wake of his split from Jolie, and is currently seeing a therapist to help him move on from his marriage. Following Pitt's honest interview, however, HollywoodLife is now claiming that Jolie is "relieved" her ex-husband didn't talk about his current love life, as it would have been "painful" for her to read.

In a so-called "exclusive," a supposed "source" tells the outlet, "[Jolie] appreciates his respectful regard for her own feelings about who he is or is not currently dating," adding that the actress reached out to Pitt and "thanked him for keeping his interview classy." The webloid's clearly made-up insider further purports that Jolie is grateful the actor didn't purposely "rub her face in who he may or may not be seeing romantically."

Of course, Gossip Cop has repeatedly busted the unreliable site for fabricating inaccurate stories about the former couple, so we were understandably dubious about this latest report. Notwithstanding, we checked in with an impeccable source close to the situation who assured us the entire article is "not true," as Jolie is not "relieved" that Pitt didn't talk about his current love life in his recent interview with GQ. Once again, the webloid is peddling yet another fake news story, based on "exclusive" quotes from fictional sources.

Naturally, we're not remotely surprised by HollywoodLife's bogus reporting skills. Just days ago, Gossip Cop called out the notoriously unreliable website for falsely alleging Jolie wanted to get back together with Pitt following his GQ interview. And shortly before that phony tale, we debunked the outlet for wrongly claiming Jolie thought about reconciling with Pitt after filing for divorce. Neither story was true, and the same goes for this latest article.

Our Verdict

Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
