A new webloid report claims Angelina Jolie has “thought about reconciling” with Brad Pitt after filing for divorce from the actor last year, but the story is entirely inaccurate. Gossip Cop can clear up the situation.

“Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt: Does She Want Him Back After Bitter Divorce?” reads a new HollywoodLife headline. The accompanying article quotes a seemingly nonexistent insider as saying the actress has considered taking back her estranged husband for the sake of their kids, but won’t because she “still has too many scars from their bad times.”

The site’s dubious source goes on to contend that a reunion between the ex-spouses is always possible, but it’s “not happening” at the moment because Pitt “was deeply wounded by the whole split and custody situation.” The webloid further pretends to have insider information by quoting its so-called “source” as saying Jolie’s “time with Brad was by far the deepest, most fulfilling relationship of her life,” which is fairly obvious considering they were together for more than a decade and share six kids.

But HollywoodLife’s latest report is seemingly an attempt to back out of its recent string of stories about the exes possibly reuniting. Just this week, Gossip Cop busted the site for saying Jolie “misses” Pitt and then again for claiming Jolie is “terrified” of Pitt dating other women. These tales hinted at a reunion between the two, but since that clearly isn’t happening, the outlet is now covering its tracks by coming up with an excuse for why their romance isn’t being rekindled.

Once again, Gossip Cop is told by a trustworthy source close to Jolie that no one in the actress’s inner circle is spilling personal details about her to HollywoodLife. Additionally, the site seems to have forgotten all about Jolie’s alleged British boyfriend, despite having previously reported about that nonexistent relationship on multiple occasions. HollywoodLies has now moved on to a brand new narrative, but it’s equally inaccurate.
