A new webloid report claims to have intimate details about how much Angelina Jolie “misses” Brad Pitt in the wake of their divorce, but the story is entirely made-up. Gossip Cop looked into the situation, and we can exclusively set the record straight.

The repeatedly discredited HollywoodLife published a new article saying Jolie “can’t stop thinking” about her estranged husband in the months since they’ve split, and is having trouble moving on from their relationship. The site quotes a seemingly phony “source” as saying, “There were a lot of problems but he left a major impression on her DNA. She still talks about him all the time.” The outlet’s dubious insider further purports that the actress is worried about Pitt starting to date again because “she can’t live with him, and she can’t live without him.”

Jolie and Pitt were together for more than a decade and have six children together, so naturally she hasn’t immediately moved on from their marriage, but the site’s supposed rundown of the situation is fabricated. Gossip Cop is told by a reliable source close to Jolie that no one in the actress’s trusted inner circle is telling HollywoodLife about how she feels. The outlet seemingly concocted this story to fool readers into believing it has insider information about the actress, but we’re told it doesn’t.

Oddly enough, the article never mentions Jolie’s nonexistent British boyfriend, despite the site having repeatedly insisted she’s dating a wealthy British entrepreneur. Unfortunately, HollywoodLies is one of the biggest culprits when it comes to publishing fake news about the famous exes.

On Monday, Gossip Cop called out the webloid for falsely claiming Jolie has a Google alert on Pitt’s name. Just one day earlier, we busted the site’s tall tale about Jolie being “terrified” of Pitt dating again. This latest report is yet another entry in HollywoodLife’s phony saga about the ex-spouses.
