A tabloid claims Angelina Jolie's six kids are staging an intervention to get her to eat. Gossip Cop can debunk the phony story. The actress isn't starving herself, and her children aren't stepping in to fix a nonexistent issue.
According to NW, however, Jolie's "scary-skinny figure" is upsetting her six kids, Maddox, 17, Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 12, and 10-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox. "The kids are getting older and they can tell when Ange eats and when she skips a meal," a supposed source tells the outlet. "It's not lost on them that there are some signs she's not taking care of herself."
The alleged insider goes on to say that Brad Pitt used to be the one "to gently persuade Ange to eat," but following the split, the kids are having to take on that role. The questionable tipster further contends that Jolie doesn't sit down with the kids during meals, but instead "just eats handfuls of nuts or berries standing up."
From there, the so-called "source" pretends to know how the various kids are helping their mom. "Pax is a great cook and he's always making food, while Shiloh asks if they can go to her favorite restaurants during their bonding days," says the seemingly phony insider, who adds that Maddox "makes sure the house is stocked at all times with food that he hopes Ange will eat." The suspicious insider further contends Jolie "can tell what they are doing and she's trying to reassure them that she just forgets to eat sometimes and it's nothing to worry about."
The tabloid's report is pure fiction. NW has spent a lot of time targeting the actress's health. Last year, Gossip Cop busted the magazine for falsely claiming Jolie wasn't sleeping or eating, due to the stress of her divorce and caring for six kids. Shortly after that nonsense, we called out the publication for alleging Jolie was purposely "starving herself" in an effort to make Pitt look like a "villain" in their split.
Meanwhile, Gossip Cop busted the outlet in February for wrongly asserting Jolie was having a "breakdown" over Pitt supposedly dating Charlize Theron. The unreliable tabloid maintained the actress had "dropped an alarming amount of weight" over the situation. Of course, Pitt and Theron were never in a romance, so the entire scenario was fabricated.
Jolie's camp has assured us countless times that she's in perfectly good health, and these ongoing stories claiming otherwise are baseless. The actress has always been slender, and there's no indication she's any thinner than usual. Our trusted source tells us that Jolie's kids simply aren't rallying together to get her to eat more.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
