Angelina Jolie is not “going without food or sleep,” despite a new tabloid report falsely claiming she’s suffering a severe health crisis. Gossip Cop has repeatedly debunked bogus stories surrounding the actress’s well-being, and we can do so once again.

According to the National Enquirer, Jolie’s friends fear she’s on the “edge of a total collapse” because she allegedly barely eats, is overworked and only sleeps three hours a night. A so-called “source” tells the magazine, “There are times she feels light-headed and is on the verge of passing out.”

The outlet’s questionable insider further purports that the actress’s “food intake is mostly morsels of steamed veggies and fruit, very little protein, and water. She drinks wine and smokes cigarettes. The fear is she’s headed for a physical meltdown.” But while it’s true that Jolie has suffered from a few legitimate health issues in the past, the tabloid’s take on her condition simply isn’t true.

Gossip Cop checked in with a Jolie insider, who exclusively assures us that the publication’s  account of her sleeping and eating habits is complete nonsense. The tabloids have a habit of inflicting the actress with ailments she doesn’t have, and this is yet another example. But it’s not just us saying it, it’s the Oscar winner herself.

In a recent Vanity Fair interview, Jolie revealed that she’s fully recovered from hypertension and Bell’s palsy, which she had developed earlier this year before changing her lifestyle. “I’m being smart about my choices, and I’m putting my family first, and I’m in charge of my life and my health,” the actress explained. It should also be noted, Gossip Cop recently busted the Enquirer for falsely claiming that Jolie worried Bell’s palsy would ruin her career, despite her having already recovered from the condition before the story was published.

In that same cover story, Jolie also talked food, saying she now likes to “make [a] proper breakfast and… at the request of my kids, I’m taking cooking classes.” She added, “As I go to sleep at night, I think, ‘Did I do a great job as a mom or was that an average day?’” Clearly, she’s eating and sleeping. Basically, this latest tabloid article about the actress’s health is 100 percent wrong.
