A new report claiming to know Angelina Jolie's Halloween plans for her six children is entirely made-up. Gossip Cop can correct this fabrication. We're told no one has shared anything specific with the media about her throwing a party. While there's some truth to her picking up different costumes for the kids, how Jolie and her brood plan to celebrate is largely manufactured.
According to HollywoodLife, which has a penchant for twisting the truth with Jolie, the actress is planning an "epic Halloween party" to ensure her kids have the "ultimate holiday." A so-called "source" tells the outlet, "Angelina came into [Glendale Halloween] and absolutely spoiled the kids to the tune of around $1,000." The site's alleged "insider" says, "She bought a bunch of lights, bloody knives, multiple scary masks, and a straight jacket. A few of the customers insisted she should get a fog machine too, but she passed on it." The site further asserts Jolie blabbed about how she wants to "treat the kids to what she called 'the ultimate Halloween.'"
Let Gossip Cop explain what's going on here. It appears HollywoodLies, as it's known, based its article on other outlet's stories and paparazzi photos of Jolie in the party store Glendale Halloween. As it was reported by others, the actress picked up a number of scary costumes and decorations for the holiday, but contrary to the site's claim, no one from the store (or from Jolie's inner circle) leaked information about Jolie's Halloween party plans.
Regardless of the amount of falsehoods the outlet has posted over the years, Gossip Cop still looked into the story, and a source close to Jolie tells us the report is 100 percent "made-up." Of course, we're not remotely surprised by the site's latest fabrication. In the past few months, for example, we busted the blog when it manufactured Jolie's Mother's Day plans with her kids, which included them visiting the actress's mother's grave. That never happened. It also posted a bogus article about Jolie's dating plans after weeks and weeks of publishing lies about her having a British boyfriend. As scary as Halloween is HollywoodLies's ability to take real-life occurrences and add fictional twists.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
