A tabloid report claiming Angelina Jolie is "hunting" for her fourth husband is completely made-up. Gossip Cop can correct the phony story. It's simply not the case.
According to Heat, the actress is ready to start dating and has asked her business team to find her "potential suitors." An alleged insider tells the magazine, "She's also putting the word out in high-powered social circles. Flying solo was beneficial for a while - Ange needed to heal after the break-up with Brad [Pitt]. But it's been long enough now and her self-imposed exile from men is over."
The supposed source continues, "She knows a lot of people in the industry who are as good at matchmaking as they are at producing films, and she's put the word out." The questionable tipster concludes, "She hasn't felt a real spark in ages and she misses it. She'd like someone who can match her intellect, but most importantly, she needs a physical connection."
Gossip Cop, however, is assured by a reliable source close to Jolie that the tabloid's report is fabricated. We're told the actress is entirely focused on her children and career. This has been the case since Jolie's 2016 split. E! News has also confirmed that Jolie is "not dating" and remains "very focused on her kids."
Meanwhile, People magazine similarly reported that Jolie "isn't dating anyone and won't be for a very long time." The outlet added, "She is focused on her children and their needs." This is especially true as she continues to go through a custody battle with Pitt. Also, the actress has yet to finalize her divorce, so the idea that she's already looking for a "fourth husband" doesn't make much sense.
Jolie shot Maleficent 2 in London over the summer, and she's currently in Los Angeles filming the fantasy drama Come Away. When the actress isn't busy working, she's often spotted out and about with her children. Jolie's lifestyle isn't very conducive to dating for the time being. There are several trusted publications that have made note of this, but only Heat is pushing this false narrative about her "hunting" for a new husband.
Unfortunately, we're not surprised by the bogus article. The magazine has a history of making up stories about the actress. Earlier this year, Gossip Cop busted the tabloid for falsely claiming that Jolie had a "showdown" with Jennifer Aniston at a Golden Globes after-party. No such incident occurred, and this latest report is no more realistic.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
