A new report detailing how Angelina Jolie is "focused on improving her health" in the wake of her breakup from Brad Pitt is made-up. Gossip Cop can correct this bogus claim, which wrongly asserts that the stress caused by Jolie's divorce is "affecting her appetite."

Last Wednesday, Star published an article that maintained Jolie's friends were concerned about her weight following her divorce from Pitt. The tabloid inaccurately reported that the actress was at her all-time lowest weight, and could "afford to gain a few pounds." Gossip Cop exclusively busted the untrue story about Jolie's friends being worried about her health after a source close to the star said the report was 100 percent "false." Less than a week later, HollywoodLife is regurgitating the inaccurate claims about Jolie's health and "skinny" appearance with its own "exclusive."

"Angelina Jolie Focused On Improving Health & Well-Being As Fans Worry Over 'Skinny' Pics," the outlet is announcing in a new headline. In the manufactured tale, the unreliable website contends that her "stressful" divorce is "taking a toll" on the star. A so-called "source" is then quoted as saying, "Whenever she's under stress, Angelina always loses her appetite, and unless she has someone by her side making sure she's eating regularly, she has a tendency to skip meals and lose weight, which really isn't good, as she's so thin anyway." The site's seemingly non-existent insider goes on to purport, "Now that she's finally feeling better emotionally, she can start concentrating on her health again."

Let Gossip Cop set the record straight. As we've pointed out numerous times, no one remotely close to Jolie is talking about her with the aptly nicknamed HollywoodLies, which has a long history of posting phony stories about the actress. For example, we corrected the website in September for claiming to "exclusively" know the details of Jolie's single life. Much like that baseless story, this latest one is equally fabricated.

The Maleficent actress, who has had an understandably tough year, is not losing her appetite over her divorce. And while it's a plausible assumption to claim she's focusing on her health, a legitimate Jolie source is not feeding the website with that kind of personal information about the star. A mutual pal of ours and the actress tells us the report is "made-up."

Our Verdict

Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
