Angelina Jolie eats bugs in a new clip from her BBC interview. If so inclined, watch below.

As Gossip Cop reported, the actress sat down with a BBC reporter in Cambodia for an interview tied to her new movie, First They Killed My Father. During the chat, Jolie spoke about her divorce from Brad Pitt for the first time. Now, in another portion released on Monday, the star shows the journalist how she cooks up bugs while visiting the country.

Joined in the footage by daughters Shiloh and Vivienne, as well as son Knox, Jolie demonstrates removing the fangs of a dead tarantula before cooking it in a heated pan. “I think it’s always been a part of the diet, the bugs, but then I think there is a truth to the survival during the war, of course,” she says. “When people were being starved, they were able to survive on things like this, and they did.”

Jolie reveals it was in Cambodia that she first ate insects, sharing, “Crickets, you start with crickets. Crickets and a beer, and then you kind of move up to tarantulas.” As she cooks the bugs, the Oscar winner asks, “How do you flip a scorpion?” She manages, and goes on to ask Shiloh, “Do you want to share a spider?”

“It’s actually really good, the flavor,” Jolie insists after taking a bite. But, she admits, “It’s hard to chew the scorpion.” Knox, meanwhile, compares the cooked bugs to “dried chips.” Check out the crazy video below!
