Angelina Jolie is not on a “dangerous diet” consisting of only coffee, cigarettes, wine and cheese, despite an absurd report in one of this week’s tabloids. Gossip Cop looked into the situation and we can exclusively set the record straight.

A so-called “insider” tells OK!, “She starts smoking and drinking coffee before the kids are awake, and that suppresses her appetite. She tries to smoke only in the morning and late at night, so the kids don’t see her, but she still has a pack-a-day habit.” The outlet’s supposed source further claims that the actress’s meals consist of French cheeses and expensive wines, adding, “She says the good stuff doesn’t give her a hangover. Her routine is so unhealthy, it’s no wonder she’s skin and bones!”

Of course, this is all ludicrous, seeing as no human being could actually survive on such a diet. Also, Jolie was recently spotted eating Baskin-Robbins ice cream in Los Angeles. She was also photographed chomping down on a large turkey leg at a Renaissance Faire earlier this year, so the actress obviously indulges in fatty foods. Regardless, Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to the actress, who exclusively assures us the magazine’s article is completely “false.”

The actress has been open in the past about some of her legitimate health issues, but the tabloids constantly try to inflict her with nonexistent ailments, so it’s not too surprising that OK! has concocted an eating disorder. We recently busted the outlet’s sister publication, Star, for wrongly reporting that Jolie was “hospitalized” because she’s “wasting away.”

Shortly before that nonsense, Gossip Cop called out OK!’s other sister outlet, the National Enquirer, for falsely alleging that a “skin and bones” Jolie only weighed 78 pounds. This latest attack on the actress’s well-being is equally unfounded.
