A new story claiming to have inside information about Angelina Jolie dating, being "ready for love," and adjusting to single life after her split from Brad Pitt is completely made-up. Gossip Cop can expose HollywoodLife for its latest fabricated article. The report is not only filled with seemingly fake quotations, but it also contains a slew of claims that directly contradict previous tall tales told by the same website.
In its latest concocted story, the site often referred to as HollywoodLies writes that Jolie is "slowly adjusting to her new single life," but she's not ready to date following her breakup with Pitt. An almost assuredly made-up "source" is quoted as saying, "Angelina really hasn't thought about getting in to a new relationship." The same seemingly nonexistent "source" adds that dating is "not where her head is at."
This is all very interesting coming from the same outlet that previously claimed that the actress has dated several different men over the past year. In the past 12 months, for example, Gossip Cop busted HollywoodLies for claiming Jolie was hooking up with Johnny Depp. We also corrected the often discredited site for wrongly alleging Jolie was dating Jared Leto. And most egregiously, the blog ran numerous untrue tales about Jolie dating a mysterious "British philanthropist and businessman" with whom she was in a "steamy romance" and planned to marry (see headlines below).
In one article, HollywoodLies claimed that after she bought a new home in Los Angeles, Jolie might be "prepping for [a] wedding" to her British boyfriend with whom she had "fallen in love." The outlet even squealed in another manufactured story to have exclusive details about how Jolie "organizes romantic rendezvous with the British hottie" at her Malibu home. In that totally fabricated tale, the repeatedly disproven site swore up and down that when Jolie's not with her kids, she "calls her new man up for some romantic get togethers."
So, it's a little hard now to fathom how the amnesiacs at HollywoodLies can now contend that the actress "really hasn't thought about getting in to a new relationship." What's real going on is that the website "hasn't really thought" about all the lies it's told before. As Gossip Cop has accurately reported in the past, Jolie hasn't dated anyone in the year since she and Pitt split, and nature will take its course when the time comes. Until then, however, it appears we'll all have to suffer through many more falsehoods from HollywoodLife.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
