Angelina Jolie and Bradley Cooper don't have a "romance brewing," despite a false tabloid report. Gossip Cop can debunk the phony story. It's a complete fabrication.
"Brangelina 2.0" reads a headline in the latest issue of New Idea, which suggests that Cooper is replacing Brad Pitt as the new "Brad" in Jolie's life. The accompanying article says the two stars have been "enjoying each other's company" lately, but the magazine doesn't bother to explain how they met or what they've supposedly been doing together.
The outlet then notes that Jolie and Cooper were both at Disneyland on August 23. The actress went to the theme park with her four youngest kids, while the actor was there with his two-year-old daughter. It was completely coincidental and there's no indication the two stars crossed paths at Disneyland. However, the unreliable outlet suggests that Cooper followed Jolie to the theme park in an effort to get "closer" to her.
Nothing about the tabloid's premise makes much sense. How exactly did Cooper learn that Jolie would be going to Disneyland with her kids on August 23? Even if he did somehow find out, are we to believe he took his baby daughter to the theme park in the hopes of bumping into the actress? Here's what's really happening: New Idea saw separate photos of Jolie and Cooper at Disneyland on the same day and decided to create a fake narrative.
Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to Jolie, who tells us there's no romance developing between her and Cooper. A source close to the actor similarly assures us the tabloid's story is "complete nonsense." The magazine created this bogus love connection because both A-listers are currently single. In fact, we're almost surprised it's taken the tabloids this long to wrongly link the two.
It's worth noting, Gossip Cop busted the outlet in July for falsely claiming Jolie's oldest son Maddox was trying to become the legal guardian of his five younger siblings. In the time since we corrected the story, the 18-year-old went off to college in South Korea.
Back in February, Gossip Cop called out the magazine for making up a story about Jolie trying to win back Pitt from Charlize Theron. The main problem with the report was that Pitt and Theron were never a couple. As for this latest article involving Jolie and Cooper, both simply happened to be at Disneyland with their kids last month. That's where this story should begin and end.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
