Angelina Jolie is not "on a mission" to date Bradley Cooper, despite a ridiculous report. Gossip Cop can debunk the story. It's nothing more than a tabloid's weak attempt at linking two big stars.
On August 23, Cooper was photographed at Disneyland with his two-year-old daughter. That same day, Jolie was pictured in the theme park with her four youngest children. This was all In Touch needed to create a love affair between the actor and the actress. According to the magazine, the two crossed paths during their respective visits and sparks flew immediately.
"She saw how amazing Bradley was with his daughter, and that's something she finds really attractive," a supposed source tells the outlet, adding that Jolie is "ready to get back out there and meet the man of her dreams" following her split from Brad Pitt. "She hasn't stopped thinking about him. Angie's now on a mission to date Bradley."
The alleged insider goes on to say that Jolie "thinks they have so much in common" seeing as "they both act and direct and understand the pressure that comes with fame." The tipster further claims the actress thinks it's an added bonus that Cooper is friendly with Pitt, adding, "When it comes to getting revenge, you don't get much better than hooking up with your ex-husband's close friend." There's nothing to indicate that Cooper and Pitt are "close friends," but that's the least of the problems with this story.
Unsurprisingly, the tabloid also drags Lady Gaga into the phony narrative. The so-called "source" says the singer is bound to "hit the roof" if Cooper starts dating Jolie. "Angie rarely lets anyone get in the way of what she wants, especially when it comes to men," adds the seemingly phony source. As Gossip Cop has stressed countless times, there's never been a romance between the A Star Is Born co-stars.
It's worth immediately noting that Jolie and Cooper weren't photographed together at Disneyland last month, but both stars were pictured separately with their families. If the two had truly spent any time together at the theme park, it's nearly impossible they wouldn't have been spotted together, especially considering that both were spotted on their own.
Still, Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to Jolie, who confirms that the tabloid's story is total nonsense. Earlier this week, in fact, New Idea attempted to create a fake romance between Jolie and Cooper. That article was also based on the simple fact that both went to Disneyland with their kids on the same day, which was just a coincidence.
As for In Touch, Gossip Cop busted the publication last year for falsely claiming Jolie was marrying an unidentified English billionaire. The mystery man didn't exist. The unreliable outlet has zero insight into the actress's love life.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
