Angelina Jolie hasn't dated anyone following her 2016 split from Brad Pitt, but that hasn't stopped the tabloids from linking the actress to her co-stars. Gossip Cop has debunked many of the actress's nonexistent romances with colleagues. Here are five wrong rumors on the subject.

In May, Gossip Cop called out the Globe for falsely claiming Jolie was pursuing Those Who Wish Me Dead co-star Nicholas Hoult on the set of their upcoming film. The magazine contended that the actress planned to steal her co-star from his girlfriend Bryana Holly, who was said to be "all too aware of Angie's home-wrecking reputation." Not only did an individual in the actress's camp assure us the actress isn't interested in dating and remains focused on her six kids, but People magazine confirmed this as well. The idea that Jolie would try to nab Hoult from his girlfriend was absurd.

In April, Gossip Cop busted OK! for wrongly reporting that Jolie was secretly dating Colin Farrell, her co-star in the 2004 period drama Alexander. The story was concocted simply because the actress brought her six kids to the premiere of Disney's Dumbo remake, in which Farrell stars. However, the actress frequently takes her kids to movie premieres, which was the only reason they went to Dumbo. Farrell just so happened to appear in the film, which inspired the tabloid to create a love connection that didn't exist.

Gossip Cop called out Star in December for making up a story about Jolie dating Jared Leto amid her divorce from Brad Pitt. The actress co-starred with Leto in the movies Girl, Interrupted and Alexander, and according to the outlet, she reached out to him about working together again. "Things turned romantic after Angie realized she had strong feelings," said a supposed source. Around the same time the story emerged, several reputable outlets noted that Jolie "has no interest in dating" and is only focused on her six kids. Mutual pals of ours and the actress have confirmed this to be the case countless times.

In May 2018, Gossip Cop debunked a Star article claiming Jolie was "flirting" with Maleficent 2 co-star Ed Skrein in an effort to make Pitt jealous. "Angie chose Ed because he's young and gorgeous, and has a perfect physique," said an alleged insider, adding that she "thinks Ed's hot and loves the idea of working with him." The outlet didn't bother to mention that Skrein shares a young son with his longtime girlfriend. Regardless, the narrative was completely fabricated.

And in September 2017, around one year after she separated from Pitt, Star alleged that Jolie was in a "revenge romance" with Johnny Depp, her co-star in 2010's The Tourist. The tabloid maintained that "sparks flew" on set when the two stars initially worked together, but following Jolie's breakup and Depp's divorce from Amber Heard, the two had "finally turned up the heat and thrown themselves into a secret, red hot romance." A source close to Depp told Gossip Cop in no uncertain terms that the story was "completely false." The former co-stars don't appear to have seen each other in years.

Our Verdict

Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
