A report claiming Angelina Jolie has been "destroying" Brad Pitt's personal items is completely untrue. Gossip Cop can debunk the bogus premise. It's simply not the case.
The headline of a new RadarOnline article reads, "Angie's Epic Divorce Purge! Jolie Throws Brad's Leftover Sentimental Items In Trash." The accompanying story says the actress wants all memory of her estranged husband wiped from their "once shared home." An alleged insider tells the blog, "Brad left a bunch of items with Angie and the kids, like antiques and family heirlooms as well as sentimental trinkets and old toys from his childhood — and she tosses anything of Brad she finds straight into the trash, without hesitation!"
Only, there's one major problem with the website's report. The actress isn't living in a home "once shared" by her and Pitt. In June 2017, Jolie purchased the Cecil B. DeMille estate in Los Angeles, which is where she and her six children currently reside. It's illogical to believe that Pitt's family mementos and "sentimental" items are being stored at Jolie's new property. It's even more unlikely that the actress packed up her estranged husband's possessions when she moved last year, kept them around in her new home for nearly a year and a half, and has now decided to "destroy" them all.
Still, Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to Jolie, who tells us on the condition of anonymity that the blog's report is both "untrue" and "ridiculous." Unfortunately, we're not surprised the outlet got the story wrong. RadarOnline has already proven to be clueless when it comes to the actress's living situation.
Earlier this year, Gossip Cop busted the blog for falsely claiming that Jolie was permanently moving to England with her kids. The site further contended that she was relocating without Pitt's knowledge. In reality, Jolie spent the summer in London with the kids while she was filming Maleficent 2, and the actor had visitation with them during this time. The actress and her children are now back home in LA.
It's worth noting, the unreliable outlet also spends a lot of time making up stories about the actress's love life. A few months ago, Gossip Cop called out the site for wrongly reporting that Jolie was "getting serious with a British mystery man." As time has shown, the actress isn't dating anyone at the moment. This latest claim about her trashing Pitt's possessions is more nonsense.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
