Angelina Jolie is not "determined to find out the truth" about Brad Pitt dating other women, despite a report from a site that's been known to lie. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this completely made-up story. We're assured, as we have been on several other occasions, that Jolie's focus is elsewhere, namely her kids and career.

According to HollywoodLife, Jolie is "not down" at with Pitt dating, and is "demanding to know [the] details about his love life." The site kicks off its latest fabrication by stating, "Angelina Jolie doesn't want Brad Pitt back, but she's also wary of her ex dating other women." Gossip Cop knows it's only the first sentence, but we're going to stop right there and point out how in December 2017 that same site claimed Jolie was "desperate" for a "reconciliation" and had been in "tears of over losing him." So basically, right from the start the outlet can't keep track of its previous lies.

As is its modus operandi, the site maintains it has a "source close to" to Jolie who, in this case, asserts the actress doesn't know "what to believe" about Pitt's dating life, and "she's determined to find out the truth." Conversely, the dupes at the blog believe everything, which is why the outlet repeatedly reported wrongly that Pitt was dating MIT professor Neri Oxman. Perhaps the most entertaining was when the blog contended Jolie was upset Pitt was dating Ella Purnell, an actress he had never even met.

Toward the end of its current article, the website states that "neither [Jolie nor Pitt] has gone on to have a public relationship." It's unclear whether the blog threw in the word "public" because it wrote a slew of fictitious tales, based on its "source close" to the actress, about how Jolie was dating a "mystery man," who she was going to marry and adopt a baby with. Apparently, the guy was such a "mystery," not even Jolie knew who he was.

There's a reason the outlet is often referred to as HollywoodLies, and it's because the site frequently makes up untrue tales. In just this article alone, Gossip Cop has recounted how we busted the unreliable blog for falsely reporting in the past that Jolie wanted to reunite with Pitt and was going to marry a "mystery man" from England; two claims that contradict its current story, which alleges she doesn't want her estranged husband back and she hasn't been in a relationship since they split. Gossip Cop has been told numerous times by Jolie's camp that she doesn't spend time reading or worrying about rumors that involve Pitt, and instead directs her energy on her children and professional pursuits.

Our Verdict

Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
