One of this week's tabloids claims Angelina Jolie is having a "breakdown" over Brad Pitt supposedly dating Charlize Theron. The story is completely untrue. Gossip Cop can debunk it.
Despite what many unreliable tabloids are claiming, Pitt and Theron aren't dating. The bogus romance rumors, which were started by an unidentified source, have been shot down multiple times by a rep qualified to speak on the actor's behalf. The two movie stars worked together on an ad for Breitling watches last year, but Pitt's spokesperson has told Gossip Cop that he never dated Theron and "hasn't seen her in months."
Unfortunately, that hasn't stopped NW from claiming Pitt and Theron's (nonexistent) romance is taking a toll on Jolie's physical and emotional well-being. "The news about Charlize has hit her hard," an alleged source tells the outlet. "She's gone from eating tiny meals to skipping them entirely. Word is, she's dropped an alarming amount of weight, which is getting even worse."
The so-called "insider" further contends Jolie feels a loss of control now that Pitt has supposedly moved on with another woman, so she may be "starving herself" as a cry for help. "He always worried about her weight... no one would put it past her to use her skeletal frame as a sympathy ploy to divert his attention from Charlize," adds the questionable tipster. "Her tiny frame is Ange's way of showing Brad all the damage she thinks he's caused. But it's a really unhealthy way of getting even with the man she once loved."
In reality, Jolie's health hasn't been negatively impacted by an imaginary romance created by the tabloids. This also isn't the first time NW has dragged the actress into the narrative. Last week, Gossip Cop busted the magazine for falsely claiming Jolie warned Theron to stay away from Pitt and their kids.
Meanwhile, the publication also has a history of claiming Jolie is "starving herself" amid her divorce. A few months ago, the tabloid alleged the actress was purposely not eating so she'd look gaunt and unhealthy, which would make her estranged husband look like the "villain" in their split.
Around this time last year, Gossip Cop called out the magazine for making up a story about Jolie not sleeping or eating due to the stress of her divorce. And shortly before that, the outlet wrongly alleged Jolie went on a 48-hour drinking bender in New York City to cope with her split. Each of those articles about the actress's divorce jeopardizing her health were 100 percent untrue. The same goes for this latest one involving Theron, who isn't dating Jolie's estranged husband in the first place.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
